What is the GMAT?
The GMAT is the Graduate Management Admission Test. The GMAT is a 3.5 hour computer-based exam that tests analytical writing, integrated reasoning, verbal reasoning, and writing skills. Almost every Canadian & American business school require individuals to complete the GMAT for admission consideration. Admission officers, whom are the people who decide whether you get into business school or not, use the GMAT as a predictor of your success in business school. The GMAT exam has the reputation of being one of the most difficult standardized tests one can attempt. Most business schools, especially the ones in Canada, set a minimum cut-off GMAT score that the applicant must meet in order to be considered.
What does the GMAT consist of?
The GMAT consists of 4 sections:
1) Analytical Writing
- Covers ability to comprehend scholarly text and draft a thorough analysis on said text
2) Integrated Reasoning
- Covers ability to reason certain changes in economic patterns and to extrapolate conclusions from data
3) Quantitative Reasoning
- Covers ability to mediate concepts from mathematics with concepts from economics and accounting
4) Verbal & Writing
- Covers ability to draft documents based on data and to verbalize the significance of certain statistics
What are the chances of getting into a Business School?
To be frank, the chances of getting into business school are slim (however easier than getting into law school). The academy offers private 1 on 1 tutoring sessions or group sessions. The academy offers sessions in-person or via remote webcam for students all across Canada and the United States that are unable to commute long distances. All students will be given a Tutor STEM GMAT package which consists of various means and modes of study resources.
In any case, students are able to re-take the GMAT prep course however many times they wish to.

How many people per a class?
Private 1 on 1 sessions: GMAT prep via this route is seen to have the most effective results in regard to obtaining a competitive GMAT score. Group sessions: The more affordable option is to gather your classmates, colleagues, or anyone that would be interested in attending a group GMAT prep session and book a course to be taken together with a certified instructor. This option enables students to divide the costs of the sessions among the others attending while being prepped alongside friends you feel comfortable with.
Where are the classes?
In-person: Sessions between you and the GMAT instructor will take place either at the academy, or at any other place that is accessible and convenient for you ie: your university or home.
Webcam: Sessions between you and the GMAT instructor will take place online via webcam. You and the instructor will connect online using Tutor STEM's webcam communication platform at an agreed time and commence the tutoring session as if you were present in the academy. This option is beneficial to students across Canada and the United States who are unable to commute to the academy.
