Tutor STEM offers individualized tutoring sessions between carefully selected, high aptitude, experienced real estate instructors and students/applicants planning to take the real estate course examinations delivered by Humber College. The academy exclusively offers private 1-on-1 tutoring sessions, as 1-on-1 style teaching is far more effective than group classes, because the real estate instructor is only focusing on one student during the class. The Real Estate License Exam preparation the academy offers is intended mainly for students & applicants in Ontario, however applicants in other provinces in Canada and any state in the United States of America may still enroll.
The academy offers in-person & virtual options for students & applicants taking the Real Estate Exam Preparation Course. The in-person real estate tutoring sessions will either take place at our academy or at the student's/applicant's home (in-person classes at the academy follows the standard rate equivalent to the virtual rate; whereas, in-person classes at the student's/applicant's home is subjected to additional premiums due to the real estate tutor's travel time & travel cost). The in-person tutoring sessions for the real estate exam will take place at our Real Estate Department which is located at our Markham Campus in Toronto, Canada. The academy also offers virtual tutoring which takes place online, using an online whiteboard software, where the student can see everything the real estate exam tutor writes, draws, posts, explains, etc. and the real estate exam tutor can see everything the student writes, draws, posts, explains, etc. This mode of real estate exam tutoring is preferential to students who are not at a commutable distance to the academy hosting the Real Estate Exam Preparation. Virtual real estate tutoring is 100% as effective as in-person real estate tutoring. Some students may prefer in-person real estate tutoring over online real estate tutoring, or vice versa. Both modes of real estate exam tutoring are available and effective.
The Real Estate Preparation course includes free materials and resources that are intended to heighten the students' understanding on concepts tested on the specific real estate exam they are taking (for example, individually tailored Course 1 Real Estate Essentials materials and resources will be given to students anticipated to take the Course 1 Real Estate Essentials exam, similarly, individually tailored Course 2 Residential Real Estate Transactions materials and resources will be given to students anticipated to take the Course 2 Residential Real Estate Transactions exam, et cetera).

Each of the Real Estate Exam Preparation courses will be further divided into three packages: 1) the basic package, 2) the accelerated package, and 3) the comprehensive package.
The accelerated package serves as a real estate license exam crash course, where the student is taught the entire specific Humber College Real Estate course curriculum in a short amount of time coupled with an average amount of real estate study material. The accelerated package, which essentially serves as a real estate crash course, is preferential to applicants who have unsuccessfully attempted the real estate exam before, and do not require as thorough of a comprehensive preparation as someone who is attempting the real estate exam for the first time. The accelerated option is also preferential to applicants who have their exams scheduled relatively soon and need the entire course curriculum taught to them in a short amount of time; for individuals who fit this description, the accelerated package is the most optimal option as it serves as a real estate exam crash course.
The comprehensive package serves as a detailed real estate exam preparation course, where the student is taught the entire specific Humber College Real Estate curriculum in a steadily paced amount of time that is typically unrushed. The real estate teaching is coupled with a heavy amount of real estate study material. The comprehensive package, which essentially serves as a hyper-personalized real estate prep course, is preferential to applicants who are taking the real estate exam for the first time and are seeking to pass on their first attempt. The comprehensive option is also preferential to applicants who have relatively weak mathematical ability, as there are several math concepts comprised in the Humber Real Estate curriculum for all courses. The extended tutoring time in the comprehensive package will allow for the real estate tutor to re-teach the math fundamentals applicants are required to know from high school (more specifically from Grade 11 and Grade 12 equivalent math) prior to writing the real estate exams. The comprehensive option is also preferential to applicants who are weak in the English language, more specifically weak in English reading comprehension skills.
Once the applicant has registered into a specific real estate preparation course, the tutoring sessions commences at the applicant's earliest and most convenient availability.
(2) A 15 minute assessment is held during the first tutoring session. The assessment is comprised of a mix of easy, medium, and hard questions the applicant is expected to answer correctly on their actual real estate exam. Based on the results of the initial assessment, an individualized plan that is tailored towards the applicant's strengths & weaknesses will be created by the Tutor STEM administration and the applicant's assigned real estate instructor based on the questions and concepts incorrectly answered on the assessment.
(3) The majority of the materials, including the video lecture materials, Practice Tests (that are based on the most recent versions of the Humber Real Estate exams), Mock Exams, Condensed Notes, Flashcards, Vocabulary Banks and online resource drills will be distributed to the student during the first class after the assessment is completed. The real estate instructor will devise a study plan with the student, after considering the students' other commitments (i.e. school or work), in order to ensure the self-studying that occurs outside of the 1-on-1 tutoring sessions the student has with the real estate instructor is spent efficiently.
(4) The basis of the 1-on-1 tutoring sessions the student will have with the real estate instructor from the second tutoring session and onwards is based on the individualized plan, which is formulated using the data from the initial assessment the student completed during the first session. Essentially, the concepts the student was found to not understand or comprehend will be the focus of the 1-on-1 tutoring sessions.
(5) The tutoring sessions will begin with the student asking the real estate instructor any questions they may have relative to the real estate, whether it be from the practice questions assigned to them or from any other resource. Typically, the first 15 minutes of every session is used to answer the students' pre-existing questions. Once the student has finished asking their questions, or if the student does not have any questions during the start of class, the real estate instructor will commence with the pre-planned lesson.
(6) As the tutoring sessions come to a finish, the remaining materials and resources will be distributed to the student. The Blueprint, which is a free resource that is complimentary to the Real Estate Exam Preparation course, is the last material/resource that will be distributed to the student. The Blueprint is a condensed study guide that organizes all of the concepts the student is expected to be tested on during their specific exam. The real estate instructor will thoroughly go over the Blueprint with the student, and will answer any questions the student may have pertaining to the concepts on the Blueprint.
(7) The last tutoring session will consist of the student completing a diagnostic quiz during the first 15 minutes of class. The diagnostic quiz is similar to the initial assessment the student will write during the first tutoring session. The diagnostic is comprised of the hardest questions the applicant is anticipated to answer on their actual real estate exam. The student will complete the diagnostic. Based on the data of diagnostic results, the real estate instructor will be able to graphically and numerically show the student their improvement & progress throughout the Real Estate Exam Preparation course. The real estate instructor will also give recommendations to the student on which concepts to prioritize self-studying based on the results of the final diagnostic.
(8) During the final moments of the last tutoring session, the real estate instructor will devise a self-study plan with the student, for them to use and follow after the tutoring sessions have ended and before the date of their examination. The student is let go after this point, and will take the respective exam.
(9) Once the student has passed the course they are currently taking, they can either depart from Tutor STEM's guided tutoring & preparation, or continue to take Tutor STEM's guided tutoring & preparation for the next real estate exam (for example, if the student was registered with Tutor STEM for the Course 1 Real Estate Exam Preparation course, and the student has passed the Course 1 real estate exam with Humber College, they can opt in to take the Course 2 Real Estate Exam Preparation course hosted by Tutor STEM, in order to be well prepared for the Course 2 real estate exam delivered by Humber College.

Tutor STEM offers free resources and materials upon registration with one of the Real Estate Exam Preparation courses.
The materials & resources include:
(1) Practice Tests with Multiple Choice Questions that resembles similarly structured questions on the most recent and updated version of each respective real estate exam. Each Practice Test contains the same amount of questions that are present in the actual Humber College real estate exam. Multiple Practice Tests will be granted to the student upon registration. Practice Tests contain solutions with detailed reasonings explaining the rationality behind the correct answers. The Practice Tests are routinely updated to more closely resemble the questions that show up on the actual exam.
(2) Test Banks which consists of thousands of Exam Questions & Answers with detailed reasonings explaining the rationality behind the correct answers. The Test Bank consists of questions that test on concepts verbatim to the concepts outlined on the most updated and recent version of each respective Humber College real estate exam. The Test Bank ensures the student is prepared to answer a mix of easy, medium, and hard questions that are expected to be on the exam.
(3) Blueprint for each respective Humber College real estate exam - A concept book that acts as a condensed study guide which organizes all of the concepts the student is expected to be tested on during their exam. The concepts are organized in a fashion that prioritizes their importance on the exam (importance pertains to three aspects: 1) the degree of relatedness to anticipated scenario based multiple choice questions, 2) the frequency of being mentioned in the Humber course curriculum, and 3) whether certain subject matter & topics have shown up more frequently and complexly on recently administered exams.
(4) Flashcards consisting of explanations to challenging real estate exam questions that test interdisciplinary concepts that originate from two or more different course modules in the course content. Easier exam questions tend to be written in a format where one question tests for multiple concepts originating from only one of the real estate course modules at a time. Whereas, the more challenging exam questions tend to be in a format where one question tests for multiple concepts originating from two or more of the real estate course modules at a time. The Flashcards ensure the student is prepared to answer the more difficult questions that are expected to be present on the exam.

Applications must have one of the following prior to enrolling:
If an applicant does not have one of the following previously mentioned, the applicant must take and subsequently receive a passing grade on the Salesperson Program Admission Exam, informally known as the Real Estate pre-admissions exam. The Salesperson Program Admission Exam, designed and delivered through Accuplacer Next-Generation tests, assesses a learner's knowledge in reading, writing, and arithmetic (which is another word for math). There are 20 reading questions, 20 writing questions, and 25 arithmetic questions on the exam. Each section is scored in the 200 to 300 point range. Achieving a minimum score of 250 in each section is required in order to pass the exam. Tutor STEM offers a comprehensive and accelerated prep course to prepare individuals planning on taking this test. Applicants who have already completed their secondary school education (another phrase for high school education) do not have to write this exam. Individuals that already have their high school diploma (or equivalent) can start Course 1 of the Real Estate Salesperson Program instantly.

The score for each exam must be at least 75% in order to pass the course and move onto the next course. The exams are all multiple choice format (one answer only per question). There are a total of 2 simulations that must also be completed.
The student has a total of 24 months to complete the 5 courses, 4 exams, and 2 simulations. Failure to complete the 5 courses and relevant exams & simulations will result in the applicant having to retake the entire program again.
Learners are permitted one rewrite of a failed course examination. All rewrites require a learner to register for a new examination and pay an examination fee. A second failure of the same course examination requires a learner to retake the applicable course before attempting the exam again and pay all fees. Rewrites must meet any requirements including progression time period.

A core requirement applicants must meet before being eligible to enroll into Humber College's Real Estate Salesperson Program is the possession of a valid Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), which is obtained after completing Grade 12 & graduating high school. On some instances, Humber College may recognize equivalents to an OSSD.
The reason why Humber College requires a high school diploma is because there is a great deal of content from several Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 courses that are present on the Humber College Course 1, Course 2, Course 3, Course 4, Simulation 1, and Simulation 2 exams.
The following is a list of Ontario Secondary School Authority based courses which Humber College's Real Estate Salesperson Program has core principles in it's own curriculum based on. These courses aren't mandatory for Real Estate Salesperson applicants to have taken (although some of these courses are mandatory to complete in order to obtain a OSSD, which is required to enroll into the Real Estate Salesperson program in Humber College), however students that have taken these courses in the past will find it beneficial and will more likely have an easier time passing their respective Humber College real estate exams:
Course 1 - Real Estate Essentials :
The first real estate exam has the least amount and the easiest type of math & English theory questions in comparison to the other real estate exams.
Course 2 - Residential Real Estate Transactions:
The second real estate exam, often regarded as the hardest real estate exam in the entire program due to it's high volume of modules has a fair deal amount of math & English theory questions.
Course 3 - Additional Residential Real Estate Transactions:
The third real estate exam, which is an extension of the principles tested on the second real estate, has a greater amount of math & English theory questions in comparison to the first & second real estate exams.
Course 4 - Commercial Real Estate Transactions:
The fourth real estate exam, often regarded as the second hardest real estate exam due to its relatively large volume of modules, has a greater amount of math & English theory questions in comparison to all three preceding exams.
It is not mandatory to have taken these high school courses in order to pass your real estate exams, however students who have taken these courses in the past will have a greater chance of passing their exams due to repeated curriculum content.
Often times, when students lack the fundamental foundations present in these high school courses, the tutoring provided by the real estate instructors during the tutoring sessions cover these core principles along with the coinciding new curriculum in the Humber College Real Estate Salesperson courses that were not covered in the aforementioned high school courses.
