What is the OSSLT?

In Grade 10, Ontario students are given an EQAO assessment for language, which tests their reading comprehension and essay writing skills on passage-based related questions. The EQAO assessment for language is primarily referred to as the OSSLT, which stands for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test. Students must pass the OSSLT in order to graduate and receive their high school diploma.

In-person: Sessions between you and the OSSLT instructor will take place either at the academy, or at any other place that is accessible and convenient for you ie: home.

Webcam: Sessions between you and the OSSLT instructor will take place online via webcam. You and the instructor will connect online using Tutor STEM's webcam communication platform at an agreed time and commence the tutoring session as if you were present in the academy.
